Prediction of Protein Content in Pea (Pisum sativum L.) Seeds Using Artificial Neural Networks

چکیده

Pea (Pisum sativum L.) is a legume valued mainly for its high seed protein content. The content of pea characterized by lysine and low allergenicity. This has made consumers appreciate peas increasingly in recent years, not only their taste, but also nutritional value. An important element cultivation the ability to predict content, even before harvest. aim this research was develop linear non-linear model predicting percentage seeds perform comparative analysis effectiveness these models. focused on identifying variables with greatest impact included method machine learning (artificial neural networks) multiple regression (MLR). input parameters models were weather, agronomic phytophenological data from 2016–2020. predictive properties verified using six ex-post forecast measures. (N1) outperformed (RS) model. N1 had an RMS error magnitude 0.838, while RS obtained average value 2.696. MAPE 2.721 8.852, respectively. sensitivity performed best network showed that independent most influencing soil abundance magnesium, potassium phosphorus. results presented work can be useful study crop management. In addition, they help preserve country’s security.

Role of nitrogen content of pea (Pisum sativum L.) on pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum Harris) establishment

The leaf nitrogen content is generally accepted as an indicator of food quality and as a factor affecting host selection by phytophagous insects. The alate pea aphids (Acyrthosiphon pisum Harris, Aphididae) were given a choice among non-nodulated pea plants (Pisum sativum L.) supplied with one of four nitrate-N levels (0, 3, 15 and 30 mM). When whole plants were exposed to aphids for 7 days, th...

Pea (Pisum sativum L.) Growth Mutants

This review is devoted to the Pisum sativum L. growth mutants. These mutants are presented by several groups of plants. The first group is characterized by short internodes (dwarf mutants le, na, lk, la, lh, ls) or by elongated internodes (slender mutant sln). The stem growth of mutants of both types (dwarf and slender) is controlled by hormones (GA and IAA) in the stem or in seeds. Mutants cha...

Plasma Membrane Protein from Etiolated Pea (Pisum sativum L.) Seedlings1

When crude microsomal membranes from apical stem segments of etiolated Pisum sativum L. cv Alaska are mixed in vitro with 'y-[32P]ATP, a phosphorylated band of apparent molecular mass 120 kilodaltons can be detected on autoradiographs of sodium dodecyl sulfate electrophoresis gels. If the stem sections are exposed to blue light immediately prior to membrane isolation, this band is not evident. ...

Polyadenylate-Binding Protein from Pea (Pisum sativum)'

A polyadenylate-binding protein (PABP) was purified from cellfree extracts prepared from pea seedlings (Pisum sativum) by ammonium sulfate precipitation and Affi-Gel Blue and polyadenylate-Sepharose 4B affinity chromatography. The final preparation from polyadenylate-Sepharose 4B columns contained a single 70-kilodalton polypeptide with high polyadenylate-binding activity. The purified protein ...
